Another three books would have been really nice...

Thank you! And yes . . . that's exactly what I had in mind. Since Uglies was supposed to be a trilogy then make a companion series as a trilogy.

I also wanted to get to meet the real Frizz, not one that couldn't tell lies.

Yeah. A prequel on what he was like before the mind surge, or rather AFTER since he got rid of it. And I actually had an idea for a story with that, unoffically titled "Cakes" (obviously). Something about a cliche devoted to war history going too far and Aya getting caught in it when she trys to kick the story (I doubt fame would stop her from doing what she loves)

:o :o :o The trilogy could have had a new POV each time. The first two being people from different cliques and the third book POV being what Extras actually was(Aya's rise to fame; Tally's reappearance; and the Extras).

Thanks! I may actually write this as a fanfiction some time. Fleshed out the cliche too.

I loved Extras, I liked the whole Japanese spin, I didn't like Aya but I loved the new world and city and seeing how life is after the change.  The surfer clique was pretty awesome too.

Welcome Marisa!!! I see you have a Legend of Korra profile pic. There are a ton of Avatar/Korra fans on here, there's even a few topics.

Not an extras fan... AT ALL. I hated thw fact half the time she had that little pet bot with her. (Yes I know the name of the thing.) And then I didn't get it was in a different country till after the first part.

You know, considering how popular the series is now, there's probably a group of Manga Head in Aya's city who've copied the Korra/Avatar style.

The first three were so much better...Aya was annoying.
