I realize this is overdone, but being as crazy as I am, I'm doing another. I have different rules, hopefully to appease most people. If I miss some information involving gen 1-8, please inform me, it's been a while since I've read some of these.
There are 9 types of Vampires, generations 1-8 and generation X. Here are the different generations, some examples of them and some rules to go with them:
Generation 1: Dracula
Strengths: Can transform into a bat, has some magic (glamour, transform, etc.), strong, fast, immortal
Weakness: Garlic, crucifix, sun, silver stake
The stereotypical vampires that started it all.
Generation 2: Vampire Game
Strengths: Magic, can go in sun, transforming, speed, strong, immortal, breeding is possible
Weakness: three bites to change human to vampire, rulles, most are little more than slaves
Based off of the manga series, Vampire Game. The series follows the Vampire King Duzell on his quest to find the reincarnation of King Phelios. So most of the information in this is based off of him.
Generation 3: Interview with a Vampire
Strengths: Strong, fast, beautiful
Weakness: Sun, dead blood
Based off of Anne Rice's series. Louis and Lestat are the 2 followed in this series, so the information is based off of them.
Generation 4: Vampire Knight
Strengths: Strong, beautiful, can use blood tablets
Weakness: different system, bitten vampires will eventually go crazy, only purebloods can change humans, specially created vampire weapons
There is a different grading system for these vampires compared to the others. Any bitten vampire will eventually fall into a crazed sense of madness. Based off of the Manga series, Vampire Knight.
Generation 5: Underworld
Strengths: Strong, fast, beautiful, fond of weapons
Weakness: sun
Based off of the Movies. Hybrids are possible
Generation 6: Twilight
Strengths: Strong, fast, beautiful, some have powers
Weakness: Glitters in the sun, Voltari
Based off of Twilight
Generation 7: Cirque Du Freak
Strengths: Strong, fast, don't kill the victims they feed on
Weakness: Vampyr, sun
Based off of Cirque Du Freak
Generation 8: Vlad Tod
Strengths: Strong, fast, telepathic abilities, sunscreen protects from sun, Elysia
Weakness: sun burns without sunscreen, Lucis, Pravus
Based off of The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. To change human, you must feed your intent into the bite, otherwise they become a drudge (human slave).
Generation X
Strengths: Strong, fast, magic, can absorb abilities from any of the generations, telepathic abilities
Weakness: garlic, silver, hunters, dead blood
Generation X is created by me. They were the very first generation of vampires, even before generation 1. They were all born, not made, they can make vampires, but not other generation X's.
There will only be 2 Generation X vampires in the RP, and I claim one of them. Along with just vampires, you can be a hunter, a human or a werewolf. I'll post a card if people show interest.

Quanden: A vampire society focused around keeping humans down, dumb and not as powerful. They are the self elected 'peace keepers and patrol'. They keep the other vampires under strict control and the humans in the dark.
