If there was another book, after Extras, what would you want to happen? Of course, there won't be another book :(, but I'm just curious as to if anyone has thought about this.

So somewhere Mr. Westerfeld said that the last word of each book in the series was the title of the next book (In Bogus to Bubbly maybe). But the last word of Extras was "cake", so he was clearly wrapping that series up.

Hypothetically though, what would happen in the next book, "Cake"? They would probably be up in orbit, where the Extras are starting the new civilization. But maybe not. Any thoughts? What would this world be like, and how would humanity ruin this one?

Cake would stand for something, it would be a Careful Aliens Keep Elephants or something (Can't think of anything else that starts with E right now.)     

Straif:
There would be awesome floating pretties and space funtimes. And then there would be a resurgence of military people and war would break out, and the CAKES would be some weapoin (Carbon Aluminum Kinetic Elimination System or something like that. A sattalite with a bunch of carbon-fiber and smart mater missiles in it)

I can kind of totally see that. Though I think that the Extras wouldn't go to war with each other, they would attack Earth.

Straif:
Thats what I mean. Sattalite weapons systesm are really only useful against ground based targets.
