Praises for Uglies
« on: October 07, 2012, 08:36:52 AM »

I lately think Scott-La hasnt gotten the credit for the fabulous story that no one else could have written
The stroy line is so eccentrict and unique
I will always remember these books for as long as I live
These stories are so complex
All praises for Scoot-La

Yes. I realy dont understand why other -much worse- books get so famos and Uglies not. Itīs the best book I ever read, but hardly anyone know it. But ,,Panem". ARRRG! Its beeing filmed an mega-hyped, but its so bad.
Uglies would have earned more fame. But it is so. The best books and films are always the uncnowns testings.

Read a bit, I have to agree...thing about Uglies though, not enough combat. A good story for me needs combat.
Hence why I haven't tossed HG away as worthless. Least they've got some good fights.

As I have complained before, yes...I wanted bigger fights. Preferably with Deryn pulling a Wren Natsworthy and spiking some unfortunate Clanker on a bayonte.

And yes, for sure.

Nothing too gory could happen in Lev, I have a feeling it was intended for younger kids than HG was.

Annoyingly yes...hence why all the good stuff was glossed over.
Oh well, guess its up to me to write a bridge novel between them. Viable romance AND some good fights. Oh, and some Michal Bay level explosion.

I liked that explosion, yes. It was soild. She didn't SEE it though. Then again these are landmines so maybe there's nothing TOO see.
Pity about her ear though...so they can fix her ear but they can't clone Peeta's leg?
