We might have a Favorite Quotations section in Tally’s World: The Ultimate Guide to the Uglies Universe. So I thought I’d ask you guys what your fave quotes are.

Here are mine:

Feel free fill this comment thread with your own suggestions. I’d prefer to stick to things that the characters actually say, rather than my own spare prose. But we’ll see.

    page 54 as if uglies were supposed to sneak out every once in a while. Tally shook her head. She was starting to think like shay.

  7. I want another book that is from the point of view of Tally!! I didn’t like “Extras” as much as the other 3 because the point of view was WAY different…I really prefer Tally’s point of view

  11. OMG David is such a complex character, too, so it would be really great to see what he’s thinking, especially about the whole Tally reprogramming herself thing…

  13. o0o finding out about the scar would be soo sweet!! Although, I bet it’s just something normal like falling and smacking your head off the corner of something, though it would be VERY cool if it was something interesting…Anyway, g2g…bye!!

  15. Yeah, Davids point of view would be nine kinds of kick! Especially since we really don’t know that much about his past. Anyway, back to the quotes thing, my favorite is Zane and Tally (*SPOILER* I miss him so much… -tear- *END SPOILER*) right after they took the pills.
    Zane: “That may have been very stupid, Tally.”
    Tally: “At least we were stupid together.”
    Awwww… it makes me all warm ‘n’ fuzzy inside….

    & lastly Andrew Simpson Smith in Peris’s letter…

    I love Peris’s shallowness… David’s insecurity… Zane’s self-confidence… Shay’s Temper… Fausto’s pride… And Tally’s Clarity…

    i have three favorite quotes:

    1. “Be careful with the world, or the next time we meet, it may get ugly.” – Tally Everything gets out of controlled when Tally comes. So i thought that this actually makes sense.

    2. “What you do, how you think. That’s what makes you beautiful.” – David This quote is the best! Scott-la, how did u come up with this awesome quote!? OMG! David is sooooo nice! It doesn’t matter if he is still an ugly, right!?

    3. “I don’t want to hurt you, but i will if i have to” – Tally
    She is sooooo brave. Can’t believe how brave she is. i wish i knew a person who is similar to her(connection)! It would be sooo COOL!

OMG, Tally & Zane (comment #242) I’m also reading 13 Reasons Why and it’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good, but super sad *sigh* it’s like, $16.99 at Barnes & Noble, and I think I’ll save my $ for now. I just read a few chapters’parts every time I go to Barnes & Noble. It’s definitely a must-read.

    Thank you for the amazing books. I’m reading Specials and as soon as I see a copy of extras, I’m getting it. :]
    And I hope you don’t mind but me and a friend of mine (she was the one to show me the books) we speak bubblehead now. Its actually starting to catch on at my school. Its funny. A whole group of seventh graders calling things “Bubbly” and “Happy-making.”
