  1. I loved your response to the 8th question. It made me laugh. Does that really happen? Hmmmmm.

Your next project sounds incredibly yummy. I’ve been dying to know if you were working on anything new ever since I finished Midnighters (The last book series of your I read). Then I was distracted by converting Anne Rice (Love Anne Rice) fans to Westerfans (My slang term for your fan-zombies, such as myself).

I usually listen to music when I write, and I tend to get the same problems as you do. I’m not very good with concentration to begin with, but I try.

Sucks about the film thing. I’ve been totally dying to see both Midnighters and Uglies (AND PEEPS) become movies. One of my friends is going into the flim industry…I’d mention it, but she’s read the books and say they “confuse the hell out of her”. She was always coming to me and asking “What does this mean?” and “Why did Tally do that?” and “I don’t understand; who was Peris again?” which just made me a little frustrated because I loved that series so much (Though, not as much as Peeps or Midnighters, sorry) and hung on EVERY word while she was there and basically ruining the magic for me.

Also, since it was worth mentioning: I’m a total Japanophile too. (I was into Animanga, but I’m growing away from it now and moving on to Scifi [no thanks to you])

  2. Scott-sama!
    Awsome interview!
My teacher read us “The Giver” today in class, and all I kept muttering was “Scott would have done this better… Scott would have never written such a boring book… Scott generally rules!” Until my teacher got really annoyed and said “Lets all clap for apperantly the best author ever, Scott Westerfeld!” She was sarcastic, but everybody clapped anyway. Yay Scott!

  3. Well, really, why blog when you can just post a link to someone else’s blog that’s all about you? 😀

I need to re-read the Uglies trilogy, but I’m still trying to force my husband to finish it so we can talk about it. He was so distraught when Tally reached the Smoke (she hasn’t even done anything) that he stopped reading and hasn’t been able to pick it back up. XD

see, i can’t do ANYTHING without music. in fact, i’m freaking out from lack of music right now, and the TV is even on.
i trust my shuffle feature. or i just ignore and click forward randomly.

and it’s not gonna be a “picture book”. i heard closer to “semi-graphic novel”.

  11. i’m listening to Picture to Burn. it’s great. i like stay beautiful too. i had it in my head all day today. i think my fave though is a place in this world.

  12. i also like sara bareilles
i love her song fairytale and then ofcourse love song
    im love country music

  13. i loved country when i was little…. cuz that was what my mom listened to. and my friends hated it. and then as i got older i slowly started to disslike it and i got into stuff like The Fray, Nickelback and that kind of stuff. Now my friends love country and i’m starting to like it again too. Only stuff like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Rascal Flats though.

  14. o guess what… today we had a fire drill and it was during my spanish class and my teacher was sick so we had a sub and no one knew it was the fire drill (it has never gone off before) so we were all sittin in class and the entire school evacuated and we were still in the building and finally one of the other teachers told us to get out. lol. it’s a good thing it was only a drill.

  15. yeah i know and if it was a real fire it would most likely happen in the science wing and that is where our exit is. lol. the other exits are like really far away from our room. i would be toast. lol.

  16. Ahah. I loved the eight question. When I imagined what that would be like, it made me laugh so hard.

  17. hold on a second.. how do i get to the other
interviews you did? anyways. good interview,
    cant wait for levithian!!

  18. hmm… okay i need help. where do you think t.v. will be in the future… along the lines of comedy, reality t.v., drama…? 50 years ago we didn’t have reality t.v. and now we do so what’s next?

    pleaseeeee… help…. me…. my… brain… is… fried… like… TOAST!

  19. i think it will be something with a high risk and no not like fear factor like something you could actually die from

  20. in response to question 6, i think i might still have the first couple scenes from a midnighter’s screenplay saved in some obscure file on my computer
