I forgot to mention that Mind-Rain is out! Yes, a few of you commenters have already found it in various stores. If you can’t find it, just ask for it by name!

  13. I really, really liked Mind Rain. Some of the essays I didn’t agree with, some of them completely blew my mind, but it was good. Not quite going back into Tally’s world, but getting a different perspective on what it must be like in that future.

    I have to be careful to not let Robin Wasserman make me dislike Tally. Also, I now crave a Shay book.

    This is actually only slightly relevent, but the one name meaning/origin that I really wanted to know was Fausto’s and it didn’t appear in Bogus to Bubbly. Any trivia that us fans don’t know yet?

  16. i need to get that book. even if i liked prettytime better… i guess that even tho being like a bubblehead would be fun for a while and the pretties were a lot more easy on the eyes than after the mind rain, free thinking is stil a comfort. that cover is really creepy. the pretty looks a lot more…well, pretty.

  17. Ah, yes. I bought this last weekend! I thought I missed something and it came out awhile ago… But I guess not! It’s a very interesting book! (I <3 it. :3)

Riva la, i think i get what you mean about liking the prettytime better. to tell you the truth, i agree with most of what Dr. Cable says and does. im sorry if im not making sense, i have had alot of boyfriend troubles and im sick and tired. but i think that the special headed shay was the real shay, just a little, enhanced. I was rather annoyed when shay forgived tally so easily. no more talk. sleep time. oh wait, it’s not even eight o clock. why didn’t i just write eight with the nnumber? i can’t find it on the keyboard. wow im stupid. oh i found it! ok, it’s not even 8 pm! but i am sooooooo tired and it’s not very bubbly making!

    Pony-la, Riva-la: I agree about the pretty time. Mostly because whoever invented the bubble-head operation probably had good intentions, and honestly, I don’t see what was wrong with making pretties a little…tame. It protected the world from the havoc we’re wreaking on it lol.

    Ally-wa: I just started to read the part (from the free excerpt thing) by Robin Wasserman. (and my computer froze..gr) Is she really passionate about not-liking Tally?

    jay-wa lol yeah i think she is it made me really hate tally when i read it but i got over it bc how can you hate tally? she is the main character, but from the start i’ve been on team shay! nothing against tally i <3 her too but shay is just awesome!!

  23. Come on! I just bought a couple books today, (one of the two is Peeps!) and I have a ton I’ve got but haven’t read, so I can’t buy new ones anytime soon. 🙁

  29. *Sigh* like a couple days ago I had a flash of an AWSOME Uglies trailer for the movie me and my friends were going to make… too bad we can’t make it. I just am too mad that Anthony is moving!!!! He’s like ruining our entire lives by leaving us in the dust!! GRRRRRRRRR BOO ANTHONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol

  30. It’s funny. Like… when I’m by myself….. I am such a good actor!!!! Lol. This will sound weird, but, see, sometimes-when I’m by myself- I like act out scenes from like my fav books or whatever. I know it sounds weird and stuff, but yeah! I even cry if I have too! But then, when I’m with friends, like I just can’t act that well. Don’t know why… I guess I just could be shy or something… This was randome, but mentioning the trailer thing that popped in my head made me think of my acting… yup.

  31. ya its out here at least……ya I had been waiting forever too…Im so happy I have it in my hands at last…..I feel your pain though. There was this UK book that I fell in love with and I had to wait 4ever for it to come to Canada…..like I would see it there on Amazon but I still had to wait a whole year to get it….almost drove me insane :O

  50. Ya, it’s sunny here right now. Wish it would rain. Jay-wa, you think that’s sad…Last nite I sat in the living room for hours watching the history and discovery channel with my dad. I am SO ashamed cuz I actually enjoyed it. *bangs head on wall*
