  1. Yay! Too bad you’re not going to the Anime Con instead… that was a lot of fun. I don’t even know when it is this year :/ But if there’s Avatar at the Comic Con, and you, I’M GOIN’.

  2. You sir, are marvelous. I was all geared up to drive out to Dallas but instead you’re just the next town over–barely a twenty minute drive!

  3. Is Sunday the only day you will be at NYCC?
That’s the one day I may not be able to go. :/ My luck!
Well, I hope I can make it.

  4. Pittsburgh! I can’t wait to see you Scott! I saw you last year in DC and was prepared to come see you in Raleigh. I’ve told my parents that I’m dropping out to stalk you. JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I will follow you everywhere!

  5. HOLY FRICKIN CRAP!!!!!! You’ll be in Houston the same day I will!!!!!!!!!!! I’m visiting my brother that day!!!!! YAY!!!!

  7. wow, sorry about the terrible spelling and punctuation. my keyboard and i disagree on where the keys should be. 😀

  8. Why do you never come to the awesome state with all of these beautiful mountains??????
    Random facts of the day:
Before WWII there were 22 Hitlers in the phonebook and 0 afterwords.
The electric chair was invented by a dentist.
Bird watching is considered a hazardous hobby.
Hippomontrosesquipedaliphobia is the fear of long words.

    Whatcha think?????

  9. So i was on this website last week and i could of swore i saw that he was coming to Oregon but i guess not…so depressed now:(

  10. THANK YOU FOR GOING TO RALEIGH ON THE 22ND! i know you don’t exactly choose, but i’d thought i’d thank you anyway!

    i can’t wait!!!

  11. i have google mapped the bookstore so i already know how long it takes to get there from my house! did i ever tell you nothing happens in Raleigh?

  12. I am soooo dissapointed that you aren’t coming to the land of mountains and hiking. (Colorado) 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁
I am sooo excited for Behemoth though, I have it on hold at my library. Guess what?????? I have the only hold on it, I’m such a nerd.

  13. I’m with Lizzy; wish you were coming SOMEWHERE near California. Sigh.

But you get to go to France??? Fun!

And thank you @Bookworm for the facts!

  14. Wohoo, the earlier version of the list said that you were going to Raleigh that Saturday and I already had plans for that day but I think I can make the Friday visit (and bring some friends along too)

  15. No Wisconsin is right! You’re going to Naperville AGAIN?! You were just there earlier this year! Who organizes your schedules?? I want a word with them!

On a serious note (though that was semi-serious), what the hell is in Pennsylvania that you’re THERE three times?

Gotta drop a Texas trip and go to good ol’ Wisconsin. Wisconsin: We care.

  16. Scott, I’ve already told Natalie that she’ll get to see you for her birthday. And her school librarian wanted to come down to Birmingham, too! And I would tell all my writer friends in Birmingham to show up, too! Please don’t diss Alabama! I’m begging you!

  17. holy crap, you’re actually coming to michigan!!! too bad it’s pretty much on the other side of the state from me…if i can somehow figure out how to go, you will see me there!!!! 😀

  18. BOO! I’m completely bummed you’re not coming to California, specifically southern….
but have a wonderful trip and enjoy meeting new fans!
I’ll just read behemoth and keep it safe until you can visit us and sign it 🙂

  19. Paris ? really ? When ? (The book-festival of Montreuil is in December right ? Is there another festival or it’s just for the plaisure to come in France ? =D

  20. You need to come to NE 🙁 wait nm no one ever wants to come to NE i live here and i dont even want to be here!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Random facts of the day:
Jimmy Carter was the first president born in a hospital.
There are more fatal car accidents in July than in any other month.
You are more likely to get attacked by a cow, than a shark.

  22. Blisters, haha! Wish you would come to California at one point, (preferably the Bay Area*cough*) but I know you have a busy schedule. Maybe I’ll catch you for the Goliath tour, eh?

  23. Ahhh…. you’re going to be in NOLA…. so close to me!! But I can’t get there in 30 minutes…. I teach until 3:30 then have duties….. and I am a longterm sub, so I can’t get a sub for a sub….. Awww…. I’m a bit bummed by this, seeing as you will be so close…. Alas. I am glad you get to come to our neck of the woods anyway! Enjoy your time down here! (=

  24. What happened to Chicago? I have to take a TRAIN to get to Naperville, and the Metra isn’t covered by my UPass, so I probably won’t be able to go since I can’t drive. 🙁 Next time, go to Barbara’s Books! 😀 Nice little indie bookstore (not hipster, independent lol).

  25. I am SO excited to see you’re coming somewhere relatively close to me. I hope I can make it this Tuesday to Exton. 😀

I have a a question that I hope you or someone who’s been to one of these tours can answer for me. What goes on at these tours? I’ve never been to one but I hope I can this time. Do you generally just talk about your books? Do you do autographs? Can we buy things?

  26. @Susan I’ve never been to one of Scott-la’s tours stops (grr!) but I’ve been to a few others. Usually the author talks a bit about his or her newest book (the one the tour is for), sometimes they do a reading from it, and they answer questions from the audience. Then they sign stuff- sometimes specifically books, sometimes anything- depends on them. 🙂 This is a basic book signing, but sometimes authors will do other things, too- like John Green and David Levithan did a reader’s theatre, etc.

Hope this helps- and I hope you enjoy meeting Scott-la! I’m so jealous!!!
