  4. i just finished Leviathan i have got to say that it is the best book that i have ever read and would love to see it turned into a movie but it would probably be ruined because thats the way with a lot of books turned to movies but i have to say you are an excellen writer and keith is an amazing artist and his art really helped convey the story i can’t wait for the other book to come out.

  11. I finished Behemoth and found it to be just as good as Leviathan. The only thing that disappoints me is that I have to wait so long for Goliath! These are books that you can read over and over again – I’m almost done reading Leviathan for the second time. 🙂
    Also, I would most likely be a Clanker.

  12. How do you pronounce Leviathan? I went to the bookstore and asked for the sequel to Levvy-uh-thon, and they told me it was le-vie-uh-thin. Someone else said Le-vee-uh-thin.

    Great book anyways, pumped for Behemoth, which is obviously Bee-hu-moth. Unless it’s Beh-hem-muth. Uh-oh.

    If the Leviathan is mostly whale, does that mean it can swim? Seems more whale-ish than flying.
    You could just be flying over the ocean, then dive underwater!
    That’d be even sicker than a random floating whale-blimp thing

  19. Leviathan is the BEST book in the world! I couldn’t put it down for a second. I’m getting Behemoth tommorow. I’m pacing around. I can’t wait to read it! The third book is coming out close to my birthday and it’s all I want! YOU’RE MY FAVORITE AUTHOR EVER! Also the illustrations were awsome.

  22. Are they going to make these into movies? They should. These stories have everything: action, adventure, a little romance, humor, cool machines and unusual creatures, everything you want in a movie. All the books they’re making into movies now have annoying, predictable story-lines (I can name three off the top of my head) dumb love triangles where one girl is trying to decide between two guys, who should I choose? So annoying! Deryn and Alek and unique and funny. Very simply… they are awesome books that would make awesome movies, and it would be so cool to be able to see all of the machines and animals in action.

  24. I absolutely LOVED Leviathan. I recently read it after a recommendation given by a friend, and I do not regret a single thing. I’m still waiting until I can get Behemoth from the library, though. Can’t wait ’till Goliath comes out.

  25. Leviathan and Behemoth are possibly two of the best books I have ever read, and September 20th cannot come soon enough! With every page the adventure just became more complex, I was on the edge of my seat in suspense, because you never really know what’s coming. Even my dad loves the series!
    All in all, you better give Alek and Deryn a happy ending (preferably together), and if you drag out Alek finding out Deryn’s true gender any longer I’m afraid I’ll have to go down there and make you write it myself!

  26. Reading Leviathan now —Wow–You don’t have to be a teen to enjoy this book!! Fell asleep reading and dreamed about riding the Leviathan–what a journey! I can’t wait to finish and go on to Behemoth…loving Steampunk!!

  27. ok the suspense is killing me i have read both books FIVE times i stayed up all night reading leviathan and finished the next morning. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!! i would proudly test the book first just to make sure it doesnt kill anyone. I NEED IT! the books are great and should continue past goliath when i bought leviathan and showed next book behemoth and i got behemoth that year for christmas and didnt say next book goliath i was sad because I THOUGHT IT WAS ENDING! 🙁 but ny friend told me about the third and boom my hopes shot up. im italian though they might have been darwinists in the book i’m with the clankers!

  29. Aye! finished reading the first book, I love it! Im on darwinists side though coz I love Huxley (kinda reminds me of Zergs in Starcraft or warcraft?) and I love the way Deryn swears “Barking Spiders!!” I wonder what’s inside the egg? Hmm! Cant wait to read the next book 🙂

  30. I just finished Leviathan today. AND I FEEL LIKE I MUST RUN TO THE LIBRARY AND GET BEHEMOTH. Frantastic book, i loved it. Will Deryn tell Alek she’s a girl??? If this comes out as a movie, (preferably an animated on) i would watch it.

  34. I love Leviathan, I just bought Behemoth, and I’m going to start reading it once I’m done with my school report on it! This is one of my all time favorite books and the sequel and threequel look even cooler! I can’t wait to start reading!

  35. o mi gooooooosh i just got dun with behemoth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it took me like 2 dayz to read it, weel it wus audio book, so i could have read it like waaay faster! i like neeeeeeed goliath for my birthday! my birth day is in october tho!!!!!! i cant wait! thinking- will deryn and alek ( omg he is so awesum) evr get togeter? or will alek run away when he learns deryn’s secret? argh! so suspenseful i might die! hm i wonder if i can get one of those presifricous (bovrill) thingys,
    PS- who else thinks count volger is freakin’ evil? and a freakin’ awesum genius?
    PPS- walkers are a total rip off of star wars, never the less, clankers are still pretty cool

  41. Just wondering, I read Leviathan, and I loved it, but will there be romance in the rest of the series? I’d enjoy the books so much more if there was.
