It's not as good as Incarceron... but still pretty good. Catherine Fisher's first series is good too, the Oracle Prophecies, it begins with The Oracle Betrayed and is set in a world like Ancient Egypt or Ancient Greece.

I picked up Eona at the library the other day and I am very excited to read it.

Ooh! I've been planning to pick up Eon soon. How is it?

(I never check this thread XD) It was good, very can'tputitdown exciting. Eona wasn't quite as good. I rarely stay up late reading novels since graduating from highschool but I did for Eon. It has a girl disguised as a boy, bloodthirsty court politics and general intrigue that's just all around exciting.

Since some of you are asking for books I'll repost my list lf can't put it down books that I recommended to Leviathan readers on the "Waiting for Goliath" thread. I don't think I've ever seem these three series mentioned at all on this forum and they are some of my very favorites. Does anyone read Sabriel and the Old Kingdom Series?:

The Dalemark Quartet by Diana Wynne Jones - My favorite series of all time, ever. (Though Leviathan comes close, oh so close) The last book is the best though. It is kind of an alternate universe Wales, with its own mythology and history. Kind of difficult to summarize, though, making me fail at ever booktalking it to people...  :-[

The Old Kingdom/Abhorsen Trilogy  by Garth Nix - Zombie fighting is sort of what these books are about, but that's simpifying things far too much. There is Ancelstierre to the south of the Old Kingdom with steampunk-like technology (somewhere between the World Wars, technology-wise), but their technology degrades if anyone crosses the wall to the Old Kingdom (they consistently persist in believing their Northern neighbors are only superstitious weirdos XD). In the Old Kingdom, magic is everywhere and the Abhorsen is responsible for keeping the dead dead, because evil Necromancers will always want to raise them againn to do their bidding.  There is also evil bad things coming out of the ground, biplanes, runaway princes, librarians who fight monsters, and a sarcastic talking cat. What more could you want?

The Sea of Trolls by Nancy Farmer - It's about Vikings. I mention it here because Thorgil and Deryn are quite similar, and her relationship with Jack sort of reminds me of Alek and Deryn. A bit. ;)

The Pagan Chronicles by Catherine Jinks - Historical fiction set during the Crusades with sarcastic narrator Pagan Kidrouk. I couldn't put them down for some reason, and I remember after school rushing to the library to get the next ones. They are definitely Catherine Jinks's best, I think, a lot of her other stuff it just sort of lame. :/ And only read the first three, the fourth one isn't worth it...

About halfway through it... to be honest, it's getting kind of boring. I'll probably end up slogging through the whole thing though.
