So, I’m headed off to Bologna, Italy for the book fair and SCBWI conference. I don’t think I’ll have much internet access for a week or so, but I will have interesting tales to tell when I get back to Sydney.

I have, for lack of a better phrase, the “squish motion” in one of my plays. Same thing.
Note: Laughing hysterically at a quarter past 11 PM not only freaks out one’s cats but one’s neighbours as well.

Yeah I wish I could draw too. I loved the I heart pi. I’m waiting for at least 4 different books to come out, and it’s driving me crazy wanting to know what happens.
That was hilarious! I’m glad I read M2 last weekend, or I wouldn’t have gotten it. The “I heart pi” thing is great. Mmm, and I’ve given in. Hardcover or no, I’m going to the bookstore tomorrow to buy M3. 🙂
I love how well Brianne portrays the characters. It’s perfect. And yeah, it’s so great how all her comics fit into the stories in the Midnighters books. It’s almost getting hard to think of what the Midnighters world would be like without them lol.

I tried to sketch Rex a few weeks ago, but I couldn’t bring myself to draw his head because I was afraid I’d screw it up… it happens every time I try to draw one of my favorite characters. So now I have a headless Rex in my sketchbook.
