w00t 2nd comment!!! Wanted to thank you again for the autograph and tell you that Behemoth was BARKING AMAZINNNGGGGG!!!! I think Lilit is my new favorite character, because she’s a Muslim and Clanker character every bit as barking unbelievable as Deryn, and she doesn’t have to hide her femininity. Haha I’m a sucker for strong female characters like your Deryn Sharp, or Hester Shaw from Philip Reeve’s Mortal Engines, or Tokiko Tsumura from Nobuhiro Watsuki’s manga Buso Renkin… I also liked the Ottoman Sultan because he’s the barking OTTOMAN SULTAN!!!!

I was wondering if you know when Behemoth is going to be released in Australia? Your site here says it should be out, but when i inquired at my book store they said it wasn’t even in print here yet!? I’m keen to get my hands on a copy, so I hope they iron out any of the printing issues asap! 🙂

I had the exact same problem (I live in Australia to) None of the book stores have it.. I don’t know why.. But I looked everywhere and I couldn’t find it. Your probably better off to order it online.. thats what I have done, because none of the book stores know when its coming in.

Awww, I wish I could do the online chat thing since you’re not coming to my city but I don’t do online chats. (Anybody could be a cyber-stalker…… I mean I know you’re not….. but still.) Maybe you’ll be some where near my town for the Goliath tour…… I have my fingers crossed! (Which makes typing this kinda slow……)

Registered yay! I am going to miss the first 10-20 minutes though because my class is until 2:15 (6:15 there) and then about a 10 minute walk to get across campus to my computer. Ahhh why does it have to be on a Tuesday =[ on Monday/Wednesday my last class is at 12:45. Oh well… I WILL be there though! =]
uuuurrrggghhh my class is till 3:20 and it takes like 2 hours to get home I’ll just try and find a recording on the inernet ( yes i’m that cheap) 🙂 can someone ppppllleeeaaasssee ask if he’s a dawinist or clanker pppppllllleeeeeaaaassseee
nice! i really want to do the chat thing but my dad is real scary about what i do on my computer.
on the other hand…….i finally had enough time to read leviathan and i must say, that it makes a whole lot of sense now that i went to austria over the summer and i learned about the hapsburgs! i could connect it all!

Just finished Behemoth. It took an agonizingly long time to come in the mail, even though I pre-ordered it! I ran to my mailbox everyday… because I’m cool like that. Anyway, Behemoth was brilliant. Honestly, one of the best books I’ve read in a while. Scott-la, I’ve been a fan of your books for over four years, and I must say that I think Behemoth is my favourite of any other book you’ve written! It was just so great. My only regret is that I’ll have to wait a year for Goliath… also that you aren’t coming to Toronto… ah, well. Fantastic book! 🙂
