Free Comic Book Day

I’ll be celebrating Free Comic Book Day here in Australia, so I hope to see some of you Sydneysiders at Kinokuniya on May 5. (Also known as MY BIRTHDAY.)

This is the first time I’ll be a guest at an FCBD, thanks to my first ever graphic novel, Shay’s Story.

I’ll be at Kinokuniya from 11AM to 4PM, in the Artists’ Alley.

We’re looking for the best Comic/Manga, Undead and Gothic Lolita costumes for both adults and kids. More details will be provided closer to the date.

  4. Oh yeah I got another brownie today! And, speaking of baked goods, I drew a picture of Bovril with a cookie! And, to make things even better, We Are Young is on the radio again! YYYAAAYYYYY!!!!!!

    I don’t live in Australia but… Here in Singapore, Kinokuniya is the ONLY bookstore which sells ANY of your books. Sad too see that 🙁 There’s only 1 Kinikuniya, in the city area… none of the smaller chains carry any of your books 🙁

    Sadly, even Kinoyunika was out of stock of the Hardcover Leviathan trilogy, and only a softcover with a really odd cover variant. Well, I ended up ordering it from the US on Amazon, and i still saved $10 per book. XD

  10. omg the funniest thing happend! my skool was havin a book fair and ther iin the grapic novel section i saw “Uglies: Shay’s story” i was like “OMG THEy ACTUALLY HAVE IT HERE!”

  20. You’ve got to see them!!! It is something I require all my friends to do and now whenever anyone needs a name for a pet we suggest either Lemming of the BDA or Bovril!
