3. Oh, god, that’s awesome. I am not really a myspace person, so unfortunately I cannot befriend Uglies, but I love that poll. I voted hoverboard. Just like, uh, everybody.

4. funny post allie-wa. i stood in line for hours and hours for a book signing with my mom once, to see phil lesh. we were there til 11 o’clock at night.

   i do not have a myspace, nor do i want one.

8. oh my gosh. i have been trying to figure out a costume for halloween this year and i haven’t found anything that i don’t have to spend a lot of money on. but i just had a fawsome idea!!! i’m breaking out the sharpies and i’m going to be SPECIAL! i’m excited now. i might have to be a special with fangs though because i just bought some amazing fangs that look real. well this made my night! thanks for the great idea! if anyone has any tips to make is look awesome, i’m up for suggestions!

9. fangs rock! wat r the other specials doing? at one point it was like everyone was gonna be one, but then they all flaked out. i’m sticking with my melissa costume.

   i suggest the special circumastances/i don’t want to hurt you shirts from wearable extras, like drawing fake scars on ur arms, lots of fake flash tattoos, and all-black combatwear.

10. Ya, if i wanted someone to track me down and start stalking me i would get a MySpace, but sense im not a big fan of Stalkers id rather not! O, and i have gone to see a Author, accualy like 2 weeks ago, Her name was Gabrielle Zevin, the author of Elsewhere and Memiors of a teenage Amnesiac (Which i read) and got it sighed, there was only like 20 ppl since it was a small book store and she just talked then sighed and i was 3rd person. So it was petty cool.

    oooh, i read those books. both are in the small lists of ones that made me cry. my theory is gabrielle zevin could write a book about rainbows and puppies that would make people cry. she’s just that good.

12. i have no idea what 2 be 4 halloween from one of scott-la’s books!! i mean, my mom said that i had 2 buy the “special circumstances” shirt with my own money, but believe u me, i dont have a money tree in my back yard!!!! hmm…let me think…..i could be an extraterrestriul (how the heck do u spell that?) from extras, except i dont really like the idea of undergoing major plastic surgery……to be a pretty, i dont really think i have big eyes, full lips, a symmetrical face and all that…..an ugly/extra ❓ ❗ all i know is that they have dorm jackets, i have no idea what kind of pants they wear or nething ❗ hmmmm…..maybe i could be an aya, put a little moggle on a stick, and make a dorm jacket ❓ URGH ❗ that is such a random idea!!!
    hmm….wut about melissa dess or jess ❓ hmmmm….4 melissa, i could wear black pants and shirt and long black gloves ❓ wut about dess ❓ i could have like black pants and shirt and carry around metal weapons w/thirteen letter words?
    hmmmm……midnighters aren’t really the easiest of persons to dress up as…..then again, neither is tally-wa or shay-la or aya-chan…..hmmm…..i have an idea ❗ ❗ ❗ ❗ ❗
    remember how croy came 2 the valentino party as a wolf w/like a gray silk cape thingey imitating a special to give tally the pills ❓ well, i could maybe do that ❓ hmmm…..ill think bout it….

14. You could always make your own specials shirt.
    Buy a cheap t-shirt and use a ShARpIe ???
    Or thoes printable t-shirt iron-on transfer sheet things. Thoes look pretty good.

    I make one that looked like the one you could buy because I found a VERY similar vont. Can’t tell the difference.

    I wanna make a Midnighters t-shirt next.
    Workin on designing it though. I want it to be totally mind-boggling when it is done, so i keep telling my self NOT to RuSH.

    and i’m doing the melissa costume—u r so 11:59 shirt with optional homemade bixby high school sweatshirt, red long sleeved thermal, black gloves, jeans, sneakers, a black backpack, sunglasses and big headphones. pretty easy.

    what t-shirt did u make with the similar font?

    iron-ons are okay, but after a couple washes they start to crinkle and stuff. which is why i prefer making sweatshirts and other stuff u don’t wash as much.

    sharpies 4ever! they don’t wash out.

    i’m working on an epic tithe shirt….with waaay too much effort being spent on the graphic.

16. ok i’m going to make a shirt with Special Circumstances on the front and on the back in smaller writing it will say, i don’t want to hurt you but i will if i have to. like the shirts sold here..if i had enough time i would order one and just wear that but i only have 3 days! it’s going to be a black shirt with the iron on transfer. then i will wear all black. the thing i’m having a hard time with is the flash tattoos. i want them to look like the “real” thing, but i’m not a great artist. maybe i’ll use eyeliner to mark it out then use that black face paint gunk and fill it in. well thanks everyone for your suggestions!!

17. amanda: i live in a tourist town, so my parents own a couple of clothes/souvenir stores, so i got my black s/s shirt free of charge from there, of course.

    i made a stencil that reads “Special Circumstances” using microsoft word & then printed it on photo paper, cut out the letters, and right now i’m getting ready to use silver fabric spray-paint stuff.

    the crash bracelets came from coating two old glow bracelets that have long since burned out and wrapping them in tinfoil, i’ll do something else too but i haven’t thought of it yet.

    i’m gonna do almost thesame thing you are for the facial flash tattoos: black eyepencil to outline, then black liquid eyeliner over it.

    HALLOWEEN IS GONNA ROCK!!! 8) special circumstances smiley says it’s gonna be ICY! 8)
