  3. The interview was awesome, though as others have mentioned, the order bothered me, lol. I love the fact that you blog, and that you have this website, it not only forms a connection to you and your readers but from readers to other readers as well, like you said. I loved the interview and all your books!!!

  11. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! I read the book last night. Can’t tell any details though. But it was awesome. I read it in 4 hours.

    This is what my day was yesterday before I got the book.

    1st bell, Orchestra:
    (in Orchestra room while tunning our instruments) AMELIA-twisting tunning peg way to much going way out of tune.Thinking about when she gets out of her so she can go home and get her extras book. Looks down as her string is about to break.
    says:oops thats not good.
    thinks: must pay attention.
    2nd bell, PE: thinks- grrrrrrrr when am I going to get my extras book, I should be getting it today. grrrr
    SMACK a dodge ball hits her square in her face. Because she was too intent on thinking about extras.
    3rd bell:Advanced english. (class is taking a test)
    (AMELIA is daydreaming) tapping her fingers on her desk in an inpaitient way.
    TEACHER: Amelia you better pay attention to your test and stop distracting everyone or else your going to get a dimaert and you wont be able to finish your test and you’ll get a 0.
    3,Advanced science,4 & 5 bell) sighing and taps fingers impaitently.
    6th bell: thinking- yessss schools almost out.
    getting off bus:runs home grabs mail sees book. and screams in joy. yyyyyyyyyyyyya. and runs up the steps to start reading her book. as she see’s the cute boy next door staring at her but she doesn’t care she got her book.
    yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
    end of story.

    and chasing midnight is a pretty cool title.
    my *not* fanfic speculation has been revolving around the time of thier high school graduation—-so i have subtle titles like Graduation.

    and my day was a lot like that too, amelia-wa. except it included scrawling extras-related things in notebooks and making a crazy poster.

    but the funniest thing was finishing the last 20 pages of Midnight Alley in first period enligsh.

  13. i kept yelling spoilers but no one had read it so they were all like, dude, what’d u say. and i was like dude!! *names changed in case anyone ever reads book* Molly just OD on Kate’s drugs that she was really stupid to take from a crazy vampire and Sam’s in an ICU cuz he got stabbed in the stomach and OMG if amelie doesn’t come in half an hour i’ll kill everyone breathing and LUKE I AM HER FATHER!!!!

    i think people think i’m crazy.

  14. The extras book was soooooooooooooo good. I’m reading it again. I forget where I read it or heard it, but I heard, or read, that Scott Westerfeld might not make another book for Uglies, (book 5) so sad. tear. tear. Scott, you need to come to Virginia. It would be so cool to meet you.

  17. actually, i think that a fifth uglies book would be cool, though a fourth midnighters book might be a little better…..i like that name, “chasing midnight” or something…..sounds exciting….let me know wen its gonna b published….scott, u have to come to massachussetts (did i spell that right? i hate spelling it!!)!!!!! i’m dying 2 meet u!!!
    im so FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i special ordered extras 4 my older sister, and she only let me read some while she did homework, then accidentally left it while she went to school, but as soon as she got home she took it to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PAIN AND AGONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have no idea how i’ll survive!!!!!!!!!! i hate it how people take books when ur in the middle of it!!!!!!!!!!! and now she’s sleeping late at noon, and i dont know where extras is, and if i wake her up before 3pm she’d kill me!!!!!!!! so i can’t read it!!!
    neways, scott, u HAVE TO, HAVE TO, HAVE TO (did i emphasise that enough???) come to massachusetts (urg!! did i spell that right??)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have to!!!
    oh, and i like the idea of the new uglies and all books from shay davids or zane’s or something……PLEASE CONSIDER THEM!!!!! PLZ WRITE AT LEAST ONE MORE BOOK IN THE UGLIES OR MIDNIGHTERS SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY! that makes sense! cause its like CHASING MIDNIGHT, and MIDNIGHT WEREWOLVES, and MIDNIGHT WEREWOLVES are just like DARKLING WEREWOLVES, only different names! FOOL! and its like revolving around the werewolves. cause were chasing them, but the titles in there two! FOOL!

  29. The order of the books bothered me. I just had to say that. Do you think Scott knew they would show them like that? Probably not, or he would’ve fixed it. At least, I hope he would.

  30. Yeah the order thing bugged me too. But there is nothing we can do.
    Is it true there’s going to be a movie? I hope not, it will compltetly kill the books, no one could ever play the characters right.
    Its so unfair, Extras isnt out here yet!
    Scott has to come to England! Tis soo unfair!

  31. Yeah, movies kill. XP They make everything overrated and not as good. Like just look at HGarry Potter. Movies lead to action figures and to everyone wanting to read the books and make reading them not as fun.
