  1. First – hurrah! Does this mean you’ll be blogging again soon? *hopeful*

Have fun, and get some sleep! 😉

  2. OOHHHHHH IM SO EXCITED FOR TOMORROW!!!!

this will be my thrid year in a row! wooot!
this time-im bringing ALL my books!!!
    …that is alright…right? 😛

  3. A tour sounds exhausting……I’m not sure I could do one. Thanks for taking your time to visit your fans. Can’t wait for you to start blogging again!

  4. @amo:
Same here. Tours sound so tiring. I don’t think I could do it either. It must become really exhausting repeating yourself all of the time, too.

Scott, speaking of dog and pony show, you should ride a pony next time! A pretty pink one with purple bows in its hair with powder blue hoofs, and a rainbow tramp stamp on its booty!!!

  5. Thanks so much, Bridget. You were all a great audience.

Yes, I’ll be blogging again soon. Starting with an awesome Fan Art Friday with all the art people gave me on the tour! So many smart and creative people out there!

  6. I didn’y know you were going to Vancouver! I could have convinced my parents to take me! Well, I guess its to late now.

  7. Ah, yes, the return of Fan Art Friday, finally! As Scott-la once said, long-awaited but never abated. And speaking of art, might there be art reveals for The Manuel of Aeronautics as there were for the Goliath? And I know this sounds crazy, but will the Manuel be “illustrated” by Deryn Sharp, you know, because she draws stuff in Leviathan and Behemoth? ‘Cause that would be smashing!

  8. You know what? Sod Deryn and Alek discovering Sasquatch, as I said earlier! I’ll bet they launch a conservation act as members of The Zoological Society of London to prevent the Thylacine from becoming extinct, as it does in this world! Or perhaps they do both. I don’t know. But that just seems more likely of them, considering they know Dr. Barlow and Tazza. But whatever happens in an as of yet unconfirmed fourth Leviathan book, I know it’ll be amazing because it’s written by Scott Westerfeld, so I’m content to leave him to concoct another story without our amateur input and outlandish ideas. So I’ll cease publishing them here… Unless a really good one hits me. Then I won’t hesitate to share them.

  10. I’d be happy if the whole book was just them acting romantic. (Actually, no, that’s a lie, then it’d be like that one Maximum Ride book that was so terrible. *sigh*)

I just want a fourth one SOOO BAD. Or, you know what? Spin-off series! THE ADVENTURES OF BOVRIL.

  11. @BBB
    😮
    it would!
*happy dance* its my birthday on the 25th, and my mom is getting me a BOWLER HAT!!!!!! i wear it for halloween!

*hopeful look* Do you want to come to my house for my birthday Scott-la? I make promises of strawberry-rubarb pie! my dad makes the best ever!

  12. @Hannah-la
I was gonna take the PSATS today but didn’t because my school called one day and asked if I was gonna take them. I got nervous on the phone because my school never calls and said, “Ummm……. no?” I regreted that because they would have helped me. Luckily my brother showed me a website that allows me to take them for free. Phew! I’ve gotten in trouble for reading Scott’s books in class, too. But I was done taking my notes and the teacher wasn’t talking or anything. Why’d I get in trouble?

  13. um, does anyone else think it would be a good story for a spin off of this if Alek and Deryn’s kid or grand-kid had something to do with an alternate world war 2

  14. @Hannah-la
Well, I haven’t taken them yet this year because I go to an online school and its really time-consuming even though I am not in honors classes, but last year I think I did pretty bad. There were hard questions that had to do with calculus and I thought I was going to faint! How about you?

  15. Out of complete boredom, I went to that Frank Lloyd Wright vs. Zombies « westerblog thing that always appears under westerblog when you look it up on yahoo (I can never remember th URL), and read through it, which is why I need to say that if I were a werewolf I would lock myself in a bathroom around sunset, as to not hurt/eat anybody.

  16. NOOOOO!!!!
I’m going to nyc commic con on SUNDAY.
    not on FRIDAY.
and i can’t make it the other days.
    I’m so sad!!!! waaaah…. :'(

  17. @Books Before Boys: I think I did okay. I always have trouble with the math, too. Blargh. I don’t get my scores until December, though.

  18. Oh my god, I’ve been so busy, I forgot to buy my ticket. No! I missed it last year to, and last year it was on my birthday: November 24th.
Scott-la, you have to come next year on November 24th. I know your editor’s choose the dates and where you go, but if you come to Vancouver next year on that date, I will be so happy!

  19. Ah, Mr. Westerfeld? Hello? FanArtFriday? You’re two days late. Give us something, please. Humour us, Scott.

  20. I am seeing you saturday. I will be taking an early train to NYC saturday morning. I am bringing my nook for you to sign. I love your books and i am a huge fan.
