  20. School doesn’t start for a while for me either, but I still need to read and annotate the Color of Water and memorize some music for marching band, so it’s like I already have homework :(.

    I haven’t gotten a reply from Lili yet. I keep freaking out, thinking she didn’t get my e-mail, but it’s only been a couple days. She’s probably waiting to get a message from all the winners or something.

  24. my school does not start until the 27th. my school board messed the school year up. we now go until june. though i do start school activites earlier. i start orchestra the 13th. we practice for 4 hours a day or more depending on what we are working on. we have to do this show for Veteran’s day with the band and choir which out number us like 5 to 1.

    i just got my own computer!!!!!

    i hated them all.

    i have figured out that if i have to read something i hate it.

Kim K: i have the same problem. if i have to read a book i hate it. but then again the Great Expectations is very LONG and very BORING. 500 pages of complete zzzz…it started getting better after the first 40 pages but now im back to sheer boringness. funny thing is i have read over 500 pages in half a day here in japan. in fact i reread part of the Uglies trilogy in half a day and now im starting to reread Specials. the thing i hate tho is i like the other books more than the Great Expectations. but me reading the Great Expectations is a homework assignment. one that could kick me out of the class if i do not read it and write an essay on it. and school hasnt even started yet…=/

  42. Woo!!! Scott!!! I’m proud of myself.&& my little sister…why? because I turned her into an “Uglies” lover. YAY!!! I’m not the only UGLIES psycho at home. x]] haha well she is still reading Uglies but she loves it. I’m so glad i have someone at my house to talk to the books about with…(idk if that made sense but anyways) YAY!!! We both cant wait for the Extras. xD

  46. Almy-La, I’m not the only 13 year old!! So ur in 8th grade??? My school doesn’t start until some time after the fourth. Lucky me!! But I have to go back for two days for “training”. the 8th graders who were specially picked get to help the new sixth graders. Now, I get time to sit here and read how boring it is at school. But my days are numbered…sigh.

    the pretty minded ugly(Amy-la): ohh. im 14 and my sister is 10. nuffin wrong with bein 13. eight-ballers are awesome.but ya…im so glad i got my sister to like it…when she first started reading it she’s like “its boring. i hate it.” and im like…-gasp- but i told her to keep reading and whatta you know she loves it. (P.S. she is a very smart 10-yr old,she is at about my speed…pretty sad if you ask me but anyways…) I’m excited!! lol
