Leviathan Out in Oz

So I recently got the word that Leviathan is officially in stores in Australia. It launched on October 13 there, a week later than the US.

Apologies to my Aussie fans for having to wait. But now you have it! (Oi, oi, oi.)

The tour is still going great. No more fires, anyway. Had a wonderful event at Changing Hands in Arizona last night and at the 86th St. B&N here in Manhattan. It’ll be nice to sleep in my own bed tonight.

I’ll be in New Jersey tomorrow with Robin Wasserman. Come check us out at Books & Greetings in Northvale.

Oh, and thanks to everyone who’s bought a copy or told a friend to buy one. Because of your enthusiasm, Leviathan has debuted at #5 on the New York Times Hardcover Children’s list. W00t!

  1. Ping to Aliss-wa and Alekrulez,
I have seen Ponyo. I liked it, but not as much as Spirited Away. No movie will ever beat that! (although if they ever make an Uglies movie, it might come close!) 😀

  2. oops, didn’t mean to bash any of the other books on the list, or start anyone else doing so. i just thought it was funny to see leviathan and pooh on the same list as it is hard to imagine books being more different, yet stuck in the same official category!
and I finished reading Leviathan last night, and it was very good! The ending was such a cliffhanger, though, it’s really unfair of Scott.

  3. Haha I’m slowly spreading uglies to the whole school. I even got my teacher to read it! They all say it supergood(: and lol my friend read the part where shay turned pretty and she was quiet for the rest of the day :]
