Here we are in sunny Oakland, CA, ready for another round of appearances! The times and locations are listed below.

But first, here’s an unexpected interview with me from Borders. I’ve been so busy and insane lately that I can’t remember answering these questions. The answers do sound like me, though.

  3. I was rereading pretties and i’m at the part where tally got her flash tatoo. I didn’t realize before but it said she got her eyes done like shays. are they still like that? and do shay and fausto still have thier flash tatoos (and eyes for shay) or did i miss the part where they got them removed?
    man thats going to bother me now..

    Anybody know?

  9. hey guys! my friend Kailey-wa is trying to decide if she should talk to you. heres what shes telling me to rite: (just for the record, im tiping exactly what shes telling me to. the things in perens are things im saying!) :

    hi. im Kailey-wa. i dont no. (shes very boring) Lizzy-wa is forcing me to say stuff two yu. (shes also very critical) not that i dont like you. (shes a goody goody tu shoes) im thinking. (shes not cool with the whole taliking to cool peeps thing. shes kinda lame) i have poka dot shoes that show the tip of my toes. (just like mine. i told u guys how she wouldnt trade with me) kay. im wearin eye shadow on only one eye rite now. youd think i put it on in the dark. but nope! im rite in front of the mirror!

    and thats Kailey-wa! shell prossably have me translate two you guys again soon. she doesnt want to just talk directly. boringness!

    (an aside—you know who else eats souls? Darkling werewolves eat souls.)
    and illustrated? giant walking war machines? (which i am currently picturing a la Imperial Walkers, the Hoth models) romance?
    historical fiction?????? that’s hard for me to imagine. i tie urban moderness a lot to the books, from high school to futuristic urban dystopias to new york zombie apocalpses. i predict a whole new genre of awesome. but i can only ask….is there slang creation? it’s one of my favorite things about the books…..

  16. currently now waiting for that interview with borders to load…how i wish i have enough money to buy extras though….has anybody heard of perhaps that UGLIES might be made into a movie? i don’t know if this rumor is true so i can’t get myself to excited yet…

    and yes Miko-la…UGLIES is supposed to be made into a movee in 2008! it wont be as good as the books, but pretty close. i hope. i REALLY hope they dont kill its reputation like they did for eragon. that would be HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!

  19. but still, if its becoming a movie in 2008, shouldnt we have heard something new? they dont even have a cast yet. hmm,,horse shaped shipping cranes…interesting. maybe..a take over the world kind of interesting? ill have to ponder this one..

  20. thanks Lizzy-wa for telling me this. i also wish that they will not spoil the movie and kept to the original as far as possible. hopefully with good animations and what so ever, all the cool gadgets in the book will actually seemed to be cool not bogus!

    by the way, i just search the phrase “uglies movie” on yahoo answers and there’s 1099 results. looks like there are people who is wondering about the movie too! is there any cast yet? have they even written the script yet?? hmm~

  21. Don’t worry lily-wa they havn’t gotten the cast yet for the twilight movie either though they have found where they were filming.. I think casting is one of the last things they do. i hope im right anyway. i still think we should have more info by now too.

  25. Serafina-la…we should form a club. a CHASING MIDNIGHT WEREWOLVES club. HEY! that makes sense! cause its like CHASING MIDNIGHT, and MIDNIGHT WEREWOLVES, and MIDNIGHT WEREWOLVES are just like DARKLING WEREWOLVES, only different names! FOOL! and its like revolving around the werewolves. cause were chasing them, but the titles in there two! FOOL!

  27. No one ever comes to Oregon! Note how the tour goes to California, SKIPS OREGON, and then it’s on to Washington. I have only one short sentence. THAT’S THE TAJ MAHAL OF BOGUS-NESS!

    I will sit in my damp cave and poke at bugs with a stick while I wait for my authors to find me in forgotten, forsaken Oregon.

  38. Is the Uglies trilogy movie gonna have open auditions for the part of Tally? Like auditions for people without agents? Thanks soooo much you guys ar awesome! =) Also, links would be great.. For people without agents. Thanks and I already emailed Scott Westerfeld but I know he can reply better on his blog.. Totally icey =)of the book. Also, do you know websites that say if there are going to be auditions open to the public? Is there an age thing like only 14 years old or whatever? I’m not 14 but still lol.

  39. I think it would be pschotically Cool to be in a movie. But, My mom won’t even let me get a job at a supermarket so I DOUBT that she would let me be in a movie.

  42. o ya and whats up with the movie??? i really hope it all works out. cuz uglies would be an AMAZING movie. even if they did chop up the plot as they often do, the hoverboard scenes would still rock.

    okay, remember Zane? Welllll….I thought that Zane was a strange name ( but I LOVED it) and I am in love with the food network (he he) and there is a show about a guy named Zane Lamphry. or somthing like that. I don’t know his last name but Zane is his first name. It’s SOOOOO FAWESOME!!

  48. Ya.. strange how those look alot like horses…. But i thought that the movie was supposed to be out in 08. Like if its gonna be out that quick then theyve prolly got the people already playing in the movie. And its prolly already done,,, theyre just waiting to realease it. o and like i said before… *cough* come to the east coast (SC) *cough*. I didnt even know about the georgia thing until like last night. But w/e. XD

  49. O and i finished Extras last night! I was gonna buy the t shirt off line but, i dont know if i want something saying im an extra. Im not against the idea, but im not going to want to do it. I need to buy a shirt for a friend too, (her b day) and like im total brain-missing on which one i should get her. Any tips?
