Sweet costumes!!
Man today i was at my school’s book fair (last day. Who’s a procrastinator?) and there were no copies of Uglies left! And only one copy of Pretties and Specials!! Like five people in line with me to check out had Uglies/Pretties/Specials. I need to buy Uglies – yes…very soon. I got it from me library when i read it. I got Pretties in the same trip (to the library) so that cliff-hanger ending didn’t really bother me. Except that I had to start at the very beginning of the second book in a series when author-dudes explain all the stuff that happened in the first book. Which really bothers me because WHY WOULD YOU READ THE SECOND BOOK WITHOUT READING THE FIRST!!!!! But then I had to go buy Specials because my library didn’t have it. And it was like…20 dollars. It took me like 4 days to read the whole series (minus Extras, of course). I finished Specials the second-last day of school. it was torture because I had to take three hour exams with it under my desk, begging to be read…

I don’t know how anyone would read Scott’s books out of order. They are REALLY missing a lot.
You send it to scott at scottwesterfeld.com, but replace the at with @. It should work that way. Is that how you did it, Bran-la? If not well…something is messed up.
and cut the spaces out between scott and scottwesterfeld.com or it won’t work. so…scott at scottwesterfeld.com minus the ‘ at ‘, spaces and all. 🙂

Uhh… a trilogy has THREE books, so extras is NOT the fourth book in the TRILOGY. It isn’t even a trilogy any more.

wow, their special tattoos were a little better than mine. but still, i drew mine myself, and i’m one of the most terrible artists in the world, and they came out great (in my opinion). my school has a costume bash tonight, so i should probably start getting ready for that, even though it doesn’t start til 9. my stupid black nail polish is cheap, and chipped almost all the way off, even though i put it on right before trick or treating. anyway, i got nothing more to say. bye!!!

Thanks for the compliments! I had my husband draw with eyeliner on my face and he tried to copy the tattoo on the cover of Specials. But you can only see so much so he improvised and he did a really good job..and then I finished it with some personal touches.
