My first post on this blog was about the cover of Blue Noon, book three of the Midnighters trilogy. So perhaps it’s appropriate that my real first post on the redesigned blog is the redesigned Blue Noon cover.
And it’s timely too, given that all three books of the trilogy are being re-released together on January 2!
So here’s the new Rex:
For reference, here are all three of the new covers together. That’s Jessica on book 1 and Melissa on book 2. (Poor Dess and Jonathan!)

Update: It has been pointed out to me that this is actually Jonathan. He’s got the acrobat symbol over his eye, after all. Man, us authors can really miss the obvious sometimes.
Except, um, this guy doesn’t really look Hispanic. Hmm . . .
Wow! I love the new covers! I can’t wait to add them to my collection 🙂 And that does look more like Rex than Jonathon, but it seems that the people who do covers for books haven’t actually read the books (I’m still saying that it’s Tally and Peris on the cover of Pretties).
You know, if you wrote 2 more books, Dess and Jonathon would get to be on covers too.
Oh my god, Zac Efron is ugly and Miley Cyrus is an awful singer. Why are people poluting Scott’s wonderful blog by mentioning them?

Just because someone else has a certain opinion about something doesn’t mean you have to, Hannah-wa. Go on liking Hannah Montana and Zac Efron. I don’t care. If everyone had the same opinion that would be like really…never mind. I hate cliches, and I was about to say one 😛 Let’s just say…I would have a bad feeling about it. Mind control. Mindcaster mind control. 😛
So don’t get mad when people say they don’t like the things you like. I’ve gotten over it. I’m sure lots of people here don’t like Avril Lavigne (listening to Girlfriend right now), Taylor Swift, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, etc. but I really don’t care b/c I happen to like them. They can say whatever they want but I won’t change my mind. And if someone says they really like something, I’ll see if I like it, and if I do, great, if I don’t I’m not going to be pressured to listen to/read/do it.
Didn’t people learn anything from Uglies? The normal/popular way isn’t the best. That is one of the many themes I got from the book (along with the whole governement conspiracy thing 😛 jk.)
So, even though you said you would leave and go to a place where other people liked them, I really hope you read this. Because I don’t want you to leave. And I don’t think you should leave just because some people don’t agree with you on some things. I just think that’s wrong. If you did that all the time, you would live a very lonely life because NO ONE will always like the same things you do. And, not to be rude or anything, but just get over it.

yeah. Taylor Swift is cool. I didn’t watch the CMA awards. too much country music makes my brain hurt. And I don’t really consider Taylor Swift country…more country pop-ish.
And she probably was just finished crying, considering how she had probably just won a CMA award. hehe.
Yeah Taylor Swift rocks!! Yeah the CMA’s weren’t exactly her best performance. On Neopets I always put her songs on my pages and then listen to theem repeadetly to annoy my dad. He especially hates Soulja Boy. It’s fun making my dad mad.
Slowly, but surely, my collection of Scott books is growing.
I went to the bookstore to get Pretties (I have Uglies, Specials, and Extras, I just need Pretties), but they didn’t have it (they waited until I was ready to buy it to not have it). So I bought the second Midnighters instead (I’ve only read the first one). I was going to just get all of them but they were the old covers, and I want the new ones. ‘Cause they’re so cool.
